Book review: How Mum’s Death Sparked Off Thoughts Of Eternal Life: The Afterlife

My recently published book titled “How Mum’s Death Sparked Off Thoughts Of Eternal Life” was propelled by the death of my mum. Having witnessed her selfless, respectful, humble, forgiving life, dignified and love for the vulnerable in our community I thought someone must be a voice for the voiceless. We all know a philanthropist is a person who donates time, money, experience, skills or talent to help create a better world for others, and anyone can be a philanthropist, regardless of status. But mum’s philanthropic life of caring for the orphans, sick and suffering made me wonder how she could just die and be forgotten about. A woman who build accommodation, schools, Orphanage and clinic to better the community. I thought while she is dead she will speak through her deeds that I chronicled in this book. Her legacy should live after her. Thoughts of eternal life were also sparked off in me. I thought of what death is, where we go when we die, where is mum and what exactly happens after death. Good as she was will she attain everlasting life at the end of the times. She always said make sure your names are written in the Book of Life. How do we do that is the golden question?
